Transfer
An established world leader in sound transfer for archival, restoration, and preservation, Chace can playback audio from over 100 formats (click here for a list) and can accommodate any format by request. Many formats are now obsolete and require modified electronics, custom-built playback mechanisms, or special element preparation techniques to ensure the best possible transfer.
For optical sound track negative playback, we have developed a patented playback technology called the COSP-Xi™ (Chace Optical Sound Processor eXtended intelligence). The COSP-Xi can transfer sound track negatives in real time with better results than can be obtained from printing the negative.
Of course, playback of these formats is only the beginning. Chace can also record to virtually any professional or consumer audio format used in the past forty years.
