Our main facility, housing Studios A through W, our vault,
Element Preparation Services, Client Services, and administration, is located at 201 S. Victory Boulevard. The entrance is at the corner of Victory and Angeleno Avenue, one block south of W. Olive Avenue.
Parking is available for clients in the lot off of Angeleno at the rear of the complex. Street parking on Victory and Angeleno is also available; please note that there are street parking restrictions from 8am to 10am on Mondays and Fridays.
Deliveries should be brought to the vault, (Door 4 from the parking lot) until 8pm. Arrangements can be made through Client Services for deliveries after 8pm as necessary. Drivers - please do not use client-designated parking spaces.
The Rick Chace Film Center houses the Rick Chace Theatre, our Optical Recording Department, and Stage B, our Foley/ADR space. This location is at 1150 W. Olive Avenue, only a few blocks from our main facility.
Parking is available in the lot off Virginia Avenue (look for the wall mural). For the Rick Chace Theatre or the Optical Recording Department, please enter through the gate from the parking lot. The Stage B entrance is to the right of the mural beneath the awning.
Deliveries for the Rick Chace Film Center should be made to the Chace Audio vault at 201 S. Victory Boulevard (see map).

Digital Asset Management Engineer

Full Time Digital Asset Management Engineer (Shift Hours 9:30AM - 6:30PM).
Service daily production needs for audio/video data management, supporting Scheduling Department and Operations. Keep an accurate inventory/database of Chace media and facilitate efficient media workflow. Minimize operations wait time, with a goal of zero wait time, for all production data. Prepare and submit media deliveries over FTP and other client platforms. Prompt, thorough verbal and written communication skills are a must. Interact with Client Services, Scheduling, occasional clients and other vendors. Important: Interact with Systems Administrators to facilitate efficient desktop, server and network troubleshooting. Gradually learn and execute basic Systems Administrator duties.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in media/film production or Information Technologies. Two years prior experience in IT support, preferably in a mid-sized post-production environment. Background in Digital Asset Management would be very helpful. Digital audio/video post-production experience is highly recommended, especially strong familiarity with ProTools HD and file/session management.
Duties & Skill Levels:
•Intermediate level understanding of Macintosh and Windows computers and their operating systems, basic network setups, peripherals, internet/email applications, etc.
•Good understanding of digital audio workstation setup/workflow, especially ProTools HD
•Prepare and submit digital asset “jobs” to/from clients and vendors over FTP and similar services.
•Understand and follow in-house and client file-naming specs.
•Perform audio/computer file copies and conversions to and from all formats used at Chace
•Perform reliable and accurate archival and data backups
•Routinely maintain 4D data tracking database, keeping records accurate
•Help in the inventory control and distribution of media
•Adhere to Chace IDT policies and procedures
•Adhere to and promote Deluxe’s privacy and confidentiality policies
•Seek out and learn technical knowledge that would benefit you and the company
•Prompt, thorough verbal and written communication skills
All applicants without at least 1-2 years of post production experience in Audio will not be considered. Local candidate preferred.

Our internship program covers every facet of company operations. Participants observe the processes required for audio restoration and preservation with experienced engineers and gain valuable hands-on experience assisting in entry-level areas and various work assignments.
Prior experience with audio or engineering is not required for consideration. Internships are flexible and can be designed to accommodate the busy schedule of advance degree students or technical certificate programs.
